SKM was one of the first companies to provide a framework for establishment of the risk policy in the company. This was done by reviewing the company risk management strategy and establishing a set of rules to properly handle it, which is described in the risk manual. The main purpose was to set up trading rules and to prepare a reporting structure to the Board of Directors. The major companies in the Nordic region and several key players in Europe used those services.
